'RAFAEL DIESTE' 2018 STUDENTS' GRADUATION

This evening we said goodbye, once again, to another 2nd Bac year students from IES Plurilingüe "Rafael Dieste". It was the 2012-2018 group of pupils. The event was held at the "Andrés Gaos" Auditorium at the nearby Superior Music Conservatory. And like every year, speeches, videos, performances and memories reminded us of their years at our school.
Here are photos of the outstanding moments.

Congratulations and good luck to all!

BACK FROM NUREMBERG

Today Thursday 19th April, the 2018 NUREMBERG-CORUÑA student exchange has come to an end. The 16 'Rafael Dieste' students and their teachers have arrived back home after a 10-day stay in Nuremberg and surrounding places. This is a compilation of some of the best moments of the group together.
The photo above and the one below, show the Spanish group of students on their first day touring Old Town Nuremberg. Above by the Nuremberg Castle, below under Albrecht Dürer's monument.

The next photos show our group at the Willstätter school entrance hall and during the welcome reception dinner with the German families on Wednesday, April 11th.

The following photo is the complete group with both the German and Spanish students taking part on the first day-trip to Bamberg on Thursday, 12th.

These two following photos show the Spanish group at the Nazi's Dokuzentrum and Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg on Friday, 13th.

And the photo below is the complete group again on the second day trip, this time to Munich.

And the last group photos were taken on their last day in front of Albrecht Dürer Haus (The Museum & House of Albert Durer) and a nearby bridge.

[9thCW] AN ENGLISH TEA @ 'RAFAEL DIESTE'

Teachers from the English departament prepared Literary English tea sessions this morning for the 2nd ESO students at our school's library. For some students it was a real good lesson, as they had never had or prepared tea before. Here are some photos of the event.

The happy organizers (from up-down): Ben, Sarah, Teresa & Isabel, teachers of English.
