ON NUREMBERG'S UNDERGROUND & TRAIN

Nuremberg is a very extended city of the region of Franconia in the German state of Bavaria, with half a million inhabitants. So the underground together with trams and buses are important for the movement of the people. During our stay, students and teachers have frequently used the undeground or U-bahn,  as they call it. I used to get on the U2 line, which covered the route between Röthenbach and Ziegelstein or Flughafen (the airport), depending on the train. My stops were St. Leonhard, where I lived, and Rathenauplatz, the nearest station to the Willstätter Gymnasium. Miss the rides...

We also used the railway train to go to Bamberg, Regentsburg & Munich, leaving from Nuremberg's main railway station (Hauptbahnhof Nürnberg). This was our meeting point:
